Make Money Online Scams are Everywhere
It is very common these days to look for ways to earn some amount of cash online. Sadly some fall into fraud traps like "buy this and get that for free only for $xx.xx", only to get their credit card information and eventually suck all that their credit cards have. There are those that will make you believe that you can really earn by just clicking through links and ads. There are tons of more stuff like these around the internet and I tell you, they all sound promising!

As someone who has been broke and not an internet type of guy back in 2010, I too fell to these traps. Luckily I do not have a credit card that maybe pissed those online burglars off. I spent hours and days and weeks and months online, hoping to find ways to earn some cash coz I am in desperate need. Back then I just got married and I don't have a job.

So I Can Really Make Some Cash Online?
Luckily a close friend of mine from the US popped me a message on Facebook and asked me to work for him as a link builder. I said "what!?" After an hour of conversation about how to do link building and what is it for, I finally understand it but still skeptical about it. Is this another online scam, well he is my friend and I know that this guy is a man of God and a Family man, I guess he will not recruit me to join a scam group so I finally said YES to him. That was 2 years ago dear friend, and from those 2 years I have come to understand some (not all) ways on how you can really make a living online. 1. Link Building
If you are someone who are thinking of selling a product or service online, you might have thought of buying your self a website thinking that once you already have one then people will start visiting it and buy your stuff. Well I am so sorry to disappoint you, but having a website, no matter how fancy and elegant it may be, is just not enough. What good is a flashy website if no one knows about it. This is when you need to do SEO, Search Engine Optimization, simply to say that doing SEO will make your website popular and more visible to your targetted custumers. SEO has 2 parts, one is called the On-Page SEO and the other is the Off-Page SEO.

On-Page SEO basically is how you present your website; how fast does it load, how user-friendly is it, are clickable buttons put in the right places, does the colors matched, etc.

Off-Page SEO on the other hand is about the number and types of links that point back to your website, the consistency of the amount of these links etc.

This is my first making money online opportunity. I was employed by my SEO expert friend to do the link buiding for his clients that own websites. Although he is from Utah and I am from the Philippines, I still get paid every month through Paypal and/or Xoom. My work as a link builder has opened my eyes on other opportunities to earn online. Because of creating forum accounts and commenting on people's blog (these are all part of link building work), I was introduced to affiliate marketing. Basically affiliate marketing is selling other people's stuff. You do this by writing a review of the product that you are promoting or write an authority(ly)-kind-of-article that has your affiliate link. Once the reader of your article click to check out your product and decided to buy it you get a certain % of commission from the owner of the product.

This is how you do Affiliate Marketing

First is you got to find a product to promote. - Ask your friends that have products or services and offer to promote them or Visit ClickBank.com for products that you can promote.

Second is to write a review or something related to the product you have chosen. - An article that has 350 to 500 words is good enough, it is not too short to appear promotional and not too long to make your reader bored.

The third thing to do is to publish your article. - You can do this by creating accounts on search engine friendly web 2.0 properties like Hubpages.com and Squidoo.com.

Fourth is to make your article popular. - If you have a Facebook account, post the link of your published article to your wall or share it with your friends. Tweet and brag about it. Look for blogs that talk about stuff related to your article and product and leave sensible comments plus the link to your article.

3. Blogging to Earn
Stone age has long been gone and we are now living in the information age period. We all love new information and are so eager to share it with others. Blogging is one cool way to do it. It is an avenue of expressing one's opinion and thoughts. Everyday hundreds and thousands of people blog about what they eat, their cats and dogs and other weird facts about their lives. But do you know that you can also make a living blogging? I have come accross Carl Ocab a teenage blogger from the Philippines who started making money through his blog when he was 13 years old. Heck yeah he was just a Kid when he started making money online. In fact if you do a Google search for the phrase "Make Money Online" you will see his website right at the very top.

So how do you make some chaching!! blogging?
By putting ads on it (google adsense) you'll have a sure $$ everytime people click on these ads. I know it sounds scammy to be paid by advertisers by just having your blog visitors click on these ads but it is real. Infact people like Carl Ocab earns four to five digit of $$$ monthly through this ads program. I too managed to earn some cash through it. Pretty cool huh!?
Affiliate products. Indeed affiliate marketing can still be done through your own blog. Just follow the above steps in promoting affiliate products (less the posting to web 2.0 properties but to your blog) and you can sure earn a decent amount too.

Selling your own product. Selling shirts and books and other stuff on your blog may not be your primary reason that you put up your blog but earning some cash in doing so will sure not hurt at all. Imagine the followers of your blog who fanatically praise every content you post, do you not see them buying whatever it is you will offer?

4. Website and Logo Design
Being now a little techy and having the understanding of SEO, I bought my own domain and started offering website design. This one took me a little while to figure out but I finally did. Using Wordpress as a flatform with its features and user-friendly plugins is one sure way you can design a slick website. To do a website design, well... ahhm watch youtube videos, that's how I've learned it. The same as designing logos ;)

Well after learning and doing the above stuff I am now skilled and ready to face other opportunities. So what I did is I Google more ways I can earn online and I stumbled upon Fiverr.com.

If you are someone who is not shy to dance in front of a web cam, or someone who can speak really loud, or can write 20 words in a rice, or can and just willing to do anything for $5, then begin creating your fiverr.com profile now. Last year I managed to earn about 70 plus Dollars offering a link building service and creating accounts in forums for other SEO people.
